Covid-19 Screening Test

At Cenyt Hospital we put at your disposal all the types of tests currently available to detect the coronavirus.

It is important to note that now, it is not necessary to have a medical prescription to have any of the tests performed.

• What does it detect?: If the patient has developed antibodies against the coronavirus.

• What information does it provide?: It indicates if the infection has never occurred, if it has passed, if it is still active at the moment or if it is evolving. If the result is positive, that is, the Infection is active or evolving, you must confirm it by performing a PCR.

• When can it be done?: It provides reliable information as of the 7^th. day since symptoms started, not before.

• How is it done?: A small blood sample is drawn from the finger.

• How much it cost?: 45 €.

• How long do results take?: 10 – 15 minutes.

• What does it detect?: If the patient has developed antibodies against the coronavirus.

• What information does it provide?: It indicates if the infection has never occurred, if it has passed, if it is still active at the moment or if it is evolving. The accuracy of the results is greater than that provided by the rapid test since it indicates the number of antibodies present and detects their lower rates.

• When can it be done?: It provides reliable information as of the 3rd-4th day since the symptoms started, not before.

• How is it done?: A blood sample is drawn via IV.

• How much it cost?: 80 €.

• How long do results take?: 48 hours.

• What does it detect?: Whether the virus is present in the body or not.

• What information does it provide?: It indicates if the patient has the virus at the current moment. It does not detect whether the disease has been overcome in the past.

• When can it be done?: It provides reliable information when symptoms start.

• How is it done?: A nasopharyngeal sample is taken.

• How much it cost?: 145 €.

• How long do results take?: 48 hours.
